I'm Melanie Snow Thompson, a classically and jazz-trained pianist and vocalist based in Colorado. With over 30 years of experience, I've performed across the country both as a solo act, and with several groups. I look forward to playing your next event!
My Story
My musical journey began with a major in piano performance at Boise State University and later at the University of Utah. Over the past 30 years, I've immersed myself in studying and performing, calling various places like Idaho, Utah, South Carolina, North Carolina, and now Colorado, my musical homes.
Whether it's solo performances or collaborations, I've been part of various events, including weddings, private parties, fundraisers, country clubs, graduation ceremonies, retirement communities, and corporate events.
In addition to performing, I've dedicated the last twelve years to teaching piano professionally. Currently, I'm part of the jazz quartet "Mountain Notable" and also lead my own trio, "The Melanie Snow Trio." You can discover some of my recordings on YouTube and SoundCloud.
